I
lost my dad in June 2008, with cancer of the osophagus. He
had hidden the extent of his illness from his family, and
we had no idea how little time we had left until the last
48 hours.
After
my dear dad died, I realised that, whilst my life was pretty
good, I wasn't doing what I ached to do, and that is to spend
my life being around horses and helping people at the same
time. My fulfillment comes from these special moments being
with, and watching, the horses move people to the next level
of their lives. There is honestly little as rewarding.
Experiencing
my three horses have helped me grow as a person more than
anything else I have ever done, particularly Jack who, at
the grand old age of 27, has been with me for over twenty
years! They all delight, frustrate, infuriate and bring joy
to my life. By their nature, they have taught me to be a better
person, and have helped me through the low points in my own
life.
The
workshops and coaching are available for anyone that is suffering
- or suffered from-
cancer.
I
also welcome counsellors and other therapists that work with
cancer sufferers
